Michael and Gwen Purdy acquired the winery in 1996, which is surrounded by orchards of apples, cherries, pears and more. Multiple varietals are offered including Pinot Noir.
The Purdys own a macadamaia nut orchard and chocolate factory, Island Princess Chocolates and Confections, in Hawaii.
The tasting room is very popular and offers a popular Sunday brunch. In 2011, the winery received a Gold for Best and Friendliest Staff from the Statesman Journal Best of Mid-Valley awards. The tasting room is open daily in Salem, Oregon.
