Tumwater Vineyard & Tasting Room

Developers Gordon Root and Rick Waible originally planned to build 45 houses on the acreage, but land-use restrictions limited them to six luxury homes overlooking a 45-acre vineyard. They call themselves accidental vintners.

The site was planted in 2015 with 3 acres of Chardonnay and 14 acres of Pinot Noir with 5 additional acres of Pinot Noir added in 2018.

The winery's lodge-style Barrel House Tasting Room is located on Pete's Mountain Road in West Linn, Oregon and is open Sunday afternoons. Private and corporate events are welcomed.

The winemaker is Laurent Montalieu.
