Proprietor and winemaker Kirk Venge has a family lineage of winemaking excellence. Both in 1976 and raised in Rutherford, Napa Valley, Kirk earned a degree in Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis, graduating in 1998. He wanted to establish his winemaking expertise beyond Napa Valley and founded Croix in Sonoma, focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The wines are sold through allocation.
