Per Bacco Cellars
A producer of premium wines based in Edna Valley that launched their first wines in 1998. The winery is a partnership between Marco Rizzo, owner of Cafe Roma Restaurant in San Luis Obispo, and Craig Shannon, a third generation vineyard manager and winemaker. Per Bacco Cellars produces Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and limited amounts of several other varietals. Per Bacco does not own any vineyards, sourcing Pinot Noir from Laetitia Vineyard which is sold primarily to Wine Club members and visitors to the tasting room. A tasting room is located on the historic Filipponi Ranch, just off the 101 Highway and Los Osos Valley Road near San Luis Obispo and is open daily from 11:00 to 5:00.
