Apolloni Vineyards
A family owned vineyard situated at the northern end of the Willamette Valley in Forest Grove that specializes in traditional Pinot Noir and Italian-style white wines. The winery has a strong Italian heritage. Alfredo Apolloni is a first generation American who developed his passion for viticulture and winemaking as a youth in Italy. Alfredo and his wife Laurine bought Apolloni Vineyards in 1999, when the 62-acre property had 5 acres of vineyard planted. The Apollonis have since developed 20 additional acres, predominantly Dijon clones of Pinot Noir. The portfolio includes an Estate, a Reserve, and Laurine Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Soleggio, Chardonnay and a Rosé. The wines are available online and through retail wine shops. A tasting room is open by appointment Friday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00. 503-330-5946. |
