Thistle Wines
A small producer of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and primarily Pinot Noir. The first wines were released from the 2003 vintage. Jon and Laura Jennison moved their family to the Dundee Hills of Oregon in 1996 to pursue their dream of producing wine from their own organically farmed vineyard. Jon Jennison is the winemaker, tractor driver, sales person, etc. and his spouse Laura Jennison is a CPA who takes care of the business side of things. Thistle wines are produced from estate fruit and are reasonably priced. The wines are sold on the winery's website with limited retail distribution in the Northwest. Wines are available for tasting at Kramer Vineyards in Gaston over Memorial Day and Thanksgiving weekends. Articles About Thistle Wines |
