Clones 667 and Pommard. 100% destemmed, proprietary yeast fermentation, aged 16 months in French oak barrels, 40% new. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Primarily oak-driven toast and char aromas. Difficult to coax any fruit aromas from the glass. Mid weight plus in concentration, with well-ripened flavors of purple and black berries that fill the mid palate. Sleek in texture with balance tannins and a fruit-driven, slightly sweet finish..
