2011 Privé le nord Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir

13.0% alc. · Lighter garnet color in the glass. The wine is on the lean side, offering an array of demure red fruit aromas and flavors. The barrel treatment is overbearing and dominates the delicate fruit core that seems faded. Not as successful as le sud in this challenging vintage. Score: 88. Reviewed May 16, 2021
