2011 Soliste L’Espérance Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

12.8% alc., 104 cases, $75. MonoClone® 115 from Sonatera Vineyard. · Moderately light reddish purple color in the glass. The nose is flamboyant over time in the glass offering aromas of dark cherries, cola and spice. I couldn’t take my nose out of the glass. This wine has a delicious dark cherry core underlain with tobacco oak and spice and seems to dance around in the glass with flavors coming and going to the party. A little more rugged and powerful than the Forét, but retains an easy-going finesse. Highly enjoyable. Score: 93. Reviewed July 19, 2014
