2013 Siduri Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

14.1% alc., 2,922 cases, $32, screwcap. · Moderate reddish purple hue in the glass. Aromas of Bing cherry and raspberry are slow to arrive in the glass but satisfy over time. A bit of an atypical flavor profile for Russian River Valley with black raspberry, blueberry and pomegranate dominating the mid weight palate. Nevertheless, this sleek wine has admirable balance with complimentary oak and a finish of some persistence. Score: 89. Reviewed December 10, 2014
