13.4% alc., 451 cases, $28. Bottled April 2014. A blend of Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris from the Wirtz Vineyard planted in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Original plantings were sourced from Charles Coury. Barrel fermented in neutral oak barrels to dryness and complete malolactic fermentation. Unfined and unfiltered. · Moderately light yellow color in the glass. Aromas of citrus, flower blossoms, and dry herbs. Delicate, but flavorful, featuring tastes of orchard fruits and spice. Slightly creamy on the palate with bright acidity. Best slightly chilled. Score: 87. Reviewed December 12, 2015
