The nose is layered with cherries, spices (notably cardamom), and a little sauvage. The wine is delicious but unlike any other California Pinot Noir I have ever had. The palate was loaded with stylish, complex spices. Nicely weighted and balanced, this is a kick to drink. Reviewed April 6, 2006
