Panther Rock Wine Company

A new wine company based in Napa, California, launched in 2009 from fourth generation descendents of the Franzia family, including Joey, Damon and Brian Franzia. Three labels that include Masked Rider, Motos Liberty and Wild Hare are priced in the $7 to $10 range. A Pinot Noir is available in the Masked Rider lineup. The wines are directed at Gen X and Gen Y consumers and include grip handles on the wine case boxes and tear tabs on the back labels. The Motos Liberty wines are sealed with screw caps, a first from the Franzia family.

The 50,000 case production is distributed nationally.
