Cycles Gladiator
This label symbolizes a celebration of the freedom and happiness that pervaded Europe in the late 19th century, an era known as the Belle Epoque. This era marked many notable inventions, not the least of which was the modern bicycle. The wines of Cycles Gladiator showcase California's coastal vineyards. The primary source for the Cycle Gladiator wines is Monterey County. This label is under the umbrella of Hahn Family Wines and its President, Bill Leigon. The winemaker is Paul Clifton. A Pinot Noir is produced under the Cycles Clement and Cycles Gladiator labels. The wines are value priced blends of various California vineyards, are widely distributed, and are sold on the website. The label caused quite a stir in 2009 when Alabama banned the wines deeming the labels pornographic. |
