Miro Cellars
Owner and winemaker Miro Tcholakov was exposed to wine and winemaking at a very early age in Bulgaria. After studies in viticulture and enology, he took a position as a harvest intern at Sonoma County's Dry Creek Vineyard. This turned into a 9-year position rising through the ranks to assistant winemaker in 1997. In 1998, he became the winemaker at Trentadue Winery where he remains today. He also oversees many custom crush operations for winemaker clients. In 2001, he launched his own label. A Pinot Noir is produced from Windsor Oak Vineyard in the Russian River Valley along with wines from warm climate red varieties. The wines are sold on the winery's website. |
