Former assistant winemaker at Stolpman, and one of the founders of Piedrasassi and Holus Bolus Wines, Peter Hunken, and spouse Amy Christine, a MW candidate and sommelier at Los Angeles AOC started Black Sheep Finds with the 2005 vintage. They make their wines at the Lompoc Wine Ghetto.

A Hocus Pocus Pinot Noir is sourced from Thomson Vineyard in Carneros, a vineyard that is 40-years-old planted to Martini clone.
