Roger Roessler, who founded Roessler Cellars, and brother, Richard who has been part of the winemaking team at Roessler Cellars, have opened a tasting room for their new label, R² (R squared) at 653 Broadway in Sonoma. Grand Opening Week was June 10-17, 2011.

R² Wine Company offers single vineyard and appellation blended value wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rhone Red and Rhone White, Grenache Blanc and Rosé. In addition, limited production wines are sold only through the tasting room and to wine club members.

The winemaker is Byron Kosuge.

Winemaker is Byron Kosuge. · A very solid, value priced Pinot Noir offering good concentration of dark red and black fruits with well integrated oak and nicely managed tannins.
