Villa San-Juliette Vineyard & Winery

A 168-acre vineyard located in the Pleasant Valley area of San Miguel, just north of Paso Robles, CA. The vineyard is planted to warm climate red and white varieties and wines from the estate vineyard are bottled as Villa San-Juliette. The first estate release was in 2008. A second, value-priced ($12 and less) lineup of varietals is produced under the Fat Monk name and includes a Central Coast Pinot Noir.

The owners, Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick were stars of the reality series "Corkscrewed: The Wrath of Grapes." the pair were childhood friends in Liverpool and became producers of the US TV hit show, American Idol.

The winemaker is Adam LaZarre who previously was the head winemaker at Hahn Estates Winery. A graduate of Fresno State University, he has produced wines from many major appellations in California over his 20+ year career.
