Rainstorm Wines

The Mariani family, who own Banfi Vintners and the Tuscan estate Castello Banfi, acquired the former Bonny Doon winery, Pacific Rim in January 2011. The family created VinMotion to incorporate the Pacific Rim brand and other affordable Northwest brands targeting younger wine buyers including Sweet Bliss (sweet vinifera blends) and Rainstorm which launched in January 2012 offering an Oregon Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.
