Firesteed Cellars
Proprietor Howard Rossbach produces seven wines including three Pinot Noirs (Oregon Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and Citation Pinot Noir) as well as Oregon Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling and Rosé from Italy based on long-term contracts with growers. Production in 1992 was 7,000 cases and today the label produces 60,000 cases of wine. In 2003, Firesteed bought Flynn Vineyards and transformed from a virtual to a real winery The wines are distributed nationally and internationally. A tasting is open daily in Rickreall, Oregon. |
