Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery
In 2008, the historic Sebastiani Vineyards and Winery was sold to the Foley Wine Group for an undisclosed price. The sale included the Sebastiani winery, office buildings, a tasting room and even center in downtown Sonoma, and 225 acres of vineyards. Half of the vineyard acreage is owned outright by Foley, and the other half is farmed by Foley in a crop share agreement with the Sebastianis. The winemaker is Mark Lyon whose career spans over 30 years who has received numerous winemaker awards. through recent years he has led the winemaking as the company divested is bulk wine production to focus on small-production wines sourced from the appellations of Sonoma County. The winery's tasting room at 389 Fourth Street East in Sonoma is open daily. Private tours, tastings and seminars are available by appointment.
