Acronym GR8 Red Wine
This brand was launched in late 2012 and offers a red blend dominated by Pinot Noir and Syrah from CAlifornia's Central Valley retailing between $10-$15. The wine is primarily available at Kroger stores and other retailers and targets millenial-generation consumers. The wine is intended to take advantage of the Red Blend category of wine, the fastest growing red wine varietal. 30,000 cases sold during the first two months the wine was on the market.
