Nick Goldschmidt, a 25-year veteran winemaker, and his spouse, Yolyn, produce Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand. Both originally from New Zealand, Yolyn and Nick have spent time living and working in the wine areas of New Zealand, Australia and South America. The winery offices are in Healdsburg, where the Goldschmidts have lived since 1990. He was Vice President and Chief Winemaker at Simi beginning in 1996. In 2003, he became Executive Vice President and Winemaker at Allied Domecq Wines USA and subsequently held the same position for Beam Estates wine portfolio.
Boulder Bank wines are crafted from grapes grown on sustainably farmed vineyards.
