Hunter Hill Vineyard & Winery
A boutique winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains above the town of Soquel producing about 2,400 cases a year. Owners Vann and Christine Slatter farm six acres here including Pinot Noir at the site of a former apple orchard, and source grapes from outside as well (Hellenthal Vineyard for Pinot Noir). The name comes from the now deceased Chesapeake Bay retriever named Hunter who has graced the labels. The wines are sold on the website.
