Hangtime Cellars
Hangtime Cellars is one of the labels from the Folio Fine Wine Partners located in Napa Carneros. In addition to a California Pinot Noir (from Santa Barbara County), single vineyard Pinot Noirs are produced from Arroyo Seco (Force Canyon Vineyard) and Carneros (Gallery Vineyard that surrounds the Folio Winemakers' Studio). An AOC Pinot Noir from Burgundy and Marlborough, New Zealand are also offered. The winemakers are Tony Coltrin and Rob Mondavi. The wines are sold online at www.noblemerchants.com. ![]() 2006 Hangtime Force Canyon Vineyard Arroyo Seco Pinot Noir 13.55 alc., $15. Named for the lengthy hang time (123 days) of the grapes in this wine. · Ripe, jammy berries with hint of new oak on the nose. Thrust of ripe fruit flavors which are slightly raisiny with a touch of tea and mocha dust. Fruity and flavorful, lightly weighted but satisfying. Balanced and clean with admirable finesse.
