Redhawk Vineyard and Winery
Redhawk Winery was founded in 1988 and became well known for producing the value-priced Pinot Noir, Grateful Red. In 2005, John and Betty Pataccoli bought the winery and renovated the property. The winery was upgraded, a tasting room was added and improvements were made to the vineyard. The estate vineyard contains Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and small amounts of Riesling and Dolcetto. The winery is family owned and operated with John handling the winemaking and Betty running the business. Current production is 4,200 cases. The wines are sold online and at the tasting room which is open daily from 11:00 to 5:00 at 2995 Michigan City Ave NW in Salem, OR. 503-362-1596 |
