Aramenta Cellars
Ed and Darlene Looney founded Aramenta Cellars in 2000 on land in Ribbon Ridge that relatives had farmed back in the early 1900s. Gary Andrus, founder of Archery Summit Winery, approached them in 1999 about leasing land to put in a vineyard at Ribbon Ridge Estate and shortly thereafter, they decided to plant 7 acres themselves (Looney Vineyard) in addition to the 17 acres of leased property. Ed Looney manages the winemaking. The winery's tasting room is open daily. A Willamette Valley Pinot Noir blend is offered including estate fruit. |
