Porter-Bass Vineyard is located at the top of Mays Canyon, between Guerneville and Forestville in the hills of western Sonoma County, nine miles from the Pacific Ocean. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically and owned by Dirck and Sue Bass who found this century-old vineyard in 1980. Through dedicated work, the couple have revived this historical treasure into a magical site. Grapes are sold to several wineries including Bjornstad Cellars, Tandem Winery, Wild Hog Vineyard and DeLoach.

Luke Bass learned his winemaking at the arm of Greg LaFollette at Flowers Winery. Later he worked in South Africa and Chile, returning to the United States to work at Tandem Winery and Hirsch Winery in Sonoma County. He produces Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Chardonnay from the estate vineyard under the Porter-Bass label.

Littorai wines are made from Porter-Bass Estate grapes and bottled under the Mays Canyon designation.

Porter-Bass Vineyard and Winery is located at 11750 Mays Canyon Road in Guerneville. Tastings by appointment (707-869-1475).
