Joyce Vineyards

In 1987, Francis Joyce planted vines on a hillside in Carmel Valley from partially derived European cuttings from which he pirated. A partnership between Francis Joyce and eldest son Russell, Joyce evolved to a label producing wines from several vineyards in Monterey County, Santa Lucia Highlands, San Benito County, and the Sta. Rita Hills. All wines are produced at a bonded urban winemaking facility in Salinas CA.. Russell has taken over the winemaking duties since he was in his early 20's.

Several varietals are offered including four Pinot Noirs that were offered in the 2013 vintage: Estate, Chalone, Santa Lucia Highlands and Monterey.

A contemporary tasting room is located at 19 East Carmel Valley Road in Carmel Valley Village. Private tastings are available by appointment during the week.
