Winemaker Natasha Boffman is a University of California at Davis graduate who has worked at Stags' Leap, Meridian Vineyards and Jamieson's Run in South Australia. Grapes are sourced from several vineyards in Santa Barbara County. A Pinot Noir is produced from Fiddlestix Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills and Cuyama River Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley.

2007 TAZ Fiddlestix Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

14.8% alc.. · Moderately colored with redder tones. Shy nose that picks up interest with time in the glass revealing scents of dark red fruits and toasty oak. Lovely core of smoky dark red cherry and berry fruits with an underlying earthiness. Fairly bold and tannic with more oak than I prefer. Good. Reviewed April 8, 2010 ARTICLE »
