A winery focusing on small-lot wines at value prices. Founded in 2008, the winemaker is Dan Fitzgerald. The wines are finished in bottle or keg and stored in a wine cave beneath Brack Mountain until delivered. Labels include Barrique Pinot Noir (keg and 750 ml), Cyprus Pinot Noir (keg and 750 ml), Tramonto Rose of Pinot Noir (keg and 750 ml), Bench Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (750 ml) and L'Oliveto Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (750 ml).

13.8% alc., $24.99. Borne refers to the old byways of France dotted with milestones called bornes. · Moderate light cherry red color in the glass. Aromas of cherry, Asian 5-spice, pepper and bark lead to a lighter weighted and elegant wine with crisp and juicy flavors of cherry, raspberry and cranberry framed by a subtle halo of oak.
