A small Napa Valley winery owned by a dentist and an airline pilot, Greg and Marilyn Nitz. Carrefour is the French name for "crossroads" or a "meeting place" which paints a perfect picture of the owners' food, wine and friends lifestyle.

The estate 18-acre vineyard was planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc in 1997, with additional Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc and Petite Verdot added in 2000. The winery now produces estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.

Since the owners are Pinot Noir lovers, they purchase grapes from Truchard Vineyards in Carneros and produced their first Pinot Noir in 2002.

Kelly De'Ianni, formerly a winemaker at St. Supery Winery, is the consulting winemaker and John Truchard manages the vineyard.
