2012 Atsina Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir
14.9% alc., 190 cases, $36. · Light reddish purple color in the glass. Aromas of ripe Damsel plum, strawberry, cherry and sandalwood. Light to mid weight flavors of black cherry, cassis, anise and toasty oak. The fruit veers to the very ripe side, but the wine is elegant, silky on the palate with supple tannins, and vibrant. Score: 87. Reviewed April 20, 2015 ARTICLE »
