A Nicholson Jones Selection wine vinifed by winemaker Julien Fayard who partnered with Cal Nicholson to found Nicholson Jones Selection (Jones is the maiden name of Cal's wife, Pam). The wines are said to be California-style wines with a traditional French accent. Several varietals are offered.

Moderately dark reddish
purple color in the glass. Aromas of black cherry, mocha and new oak lead to a full-bodied charge of
sappy black cherry and black raspberry fruits that are nicely tempered by a velvety tannic structure.
The alcohol load is in balance as well. This wine really delivers a mouthful of flavor, but avoids a
jammy course, retains a suavity and really satisfies.
