Located on the hills overlooking Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York, Forge Cellars occupies a small corner of Hector Wine Company 10 mins north of Watkins Glen. One of the partners, Louis Barruol is the vigneron and proprietor of Chateau Saint Cosme in Gigondas in the Rhone Valley of France. Another partner, Justin Boyette, is a winemaker and partner in Hector Wine Company. A third partner, Rick Rainey, is a winegrower.

Wines are offered from Riesling and Pinot Noir varieties.
