Winemaker and proprietor Tim Telli moved from New York in 2001 to make a career in the wine industry. He worked as a harvest intern for A.P. Vin, August West, and ROAR wines in San Francisco. The first Betwixt vintage was in 2012.

A 2017 vintage Pinot Noir was produced from Lester Family Vineyards.
