Pronounced DON-nuh-kuh, the name is a 4th-century Gaelic name ancestral to the modern Scottish Clan Duncan. The clan motto, disce pati, means "learn to endure."

A family-owned (Drew and Laurie Duncan) vineyard and winery located on Santa Rosa Road in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. The property is 285 acres with about 40 acres under vine with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Gamay Noir planted in 2013.

The Donnashadh Family Wines winemaker is Ernst Storm.

The Estate Vineyard wines are sold on the website.
