2004 m.a.d. Victoria Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir

13.5% alc.. m.a.d. is a project involving three people (Michael, Andy Tan and David) who are serious wine enthusiasts. The wine is vinified by Sandro Mosele and is sourced from selected barrels from the Ferrous Vineyard at Kooyong. The label sports an unusual (and mad) artwork from a female contemporary artist from France, Agathe de Bailliencourt, whose works are on display in the famous Comme des Garcons store in Tokyo. · This wine is crafted in the Burgundian (Gevrey-Chambertain) mold. Rich, full-bodied and exceptionally balanced. Spice (cinnamon, cardamom) infused aromatics lead to seductive flavors of plum, blackberry and a haunting earthiness. Power with elegance.
