2009 Stoller Family Estate SV Estate Dundee Hills Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

14.5% alc., pH 3.81, TA 0.51, 3,642 cases, $45. A selection of the best vineyard blocks and barrels in the cellar. Aged 10 months in 40% new and 60% neutral French oak. Pommard, Wädenswil, and Dijon 115, 667 and 777. · Moderately dark reddish-purple color in the glass. A medium-bodied wine of considerable charm featuring aromas and flavors of black cherries, kirsch, and spice, well-managed oak and restrained tannins. Quite elegant, yet flavorful, showing the ripe fruit flavors typical of this vintage. Well-crafted and desirable. Very good. Reviewed November 24, 2012
