Aged 11 months sur lie in 40% new, 30% 1-year-old, and 30% 2-year-old French oak barrels. · Medium reddish purple color in the glass. The nose features darker fruits and spice with a generous imprint of cigar and toast. An Interesting wine with generous flavors of cherry, raspberry, clove and nutmeg, with a noticeable, but complimentary tug of oak. This wine should find wide appeal. Score: 89. Reviewed May 15, 2014
