14.5% alc., pH 3.69, TA 0.57, 246 cases, $49. Released spring 2014. Harvest Brix 24.4ยบ. Clones 115, 667, 777 and Pommard. Aged 11 months in 40% new, 30% 1-year-old, and 30% 2-year-old French oak barrels. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. Demure aromas of cherry pie and sandalwood. The aromas have not arrived yet in this wine but do get better over time 14 in the glass. Delicious essence of fresh cherries with a hint of graham in the background. Juicy, with modest tannins and a generous red-fruited finish. There is a sense of heat on the finish but otherwise this is a very appealing wine. Score: 91. Reviewed May 15, 2014
