14.22% alc., pH 3.56, TA 0.61, 200 cases, $44. Release April 1, 2016. This vineyard is located in the Middle Reach of the Russian River Valley. Clones 777. Yields 2.13 tons per acre. 100% de-stemmed, aged 10 months in French oak barrels, 22% new. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. · Moderate reddish purple hue in the glass. The nose is primary, even when checked the following day, with only earthy, oak-driven aromas. Much better and giving on the palate, with a mid weight core of sweet, sappy blackberry, black raspberry, and blueberry-pomegranate fruits supported by a touch of oak.
