![]() 2014 Gary Farrell Love in the Time of Calera Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 70 cases, $70. A Black Label offering indicating this is a special bottling from the winemaker who loves Calera clone. This wine combines Calera clones from two vineyards: Fort Ross and Martaella. Some wine was vinified with 50% whole cluster in an oak tank and some was vinified with 30% whole cluster in stainless. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. Amazingly intoxicating nose featuring dark cherry, rose petal and spice aromas. Intensely flavored, yet suave, graceful and caressing on the palate with well-matched angular tannins and a very long amorous finish. This wine is like finding true love: indescribable but exhilarating. Score: 96-98. Reviewed June 19, 2016
