Harvest Brix 24.2º. 100% de-stemmed, 5-day cold soak, inoculated yeast primary and native malolactic fermentations, batonnage weekly for 3 months, and aged 11 months on the lees in French oak barrels, 25% new. Bottled unfined and lightly filtered. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. A complex nose offers aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, spices including oregano and vanilla, and pipe smoke. Mid weight plus flavors echo the nose fruits with a gentle nod of oak.
