Aged 10 months in new French and Hungarian oak barrels. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Aromas of black cherry, dark berry and toasty oak lead off. The modest and silky tannins are folded into the mid-weight black cherry fruit core that is imprinted with oak. There is a burnt quality to this wine on both the nose and palate. Score: 85.
