2016 Patricia Green Cellars Durant Vineyard Bishop Block Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

14.0% alc., $45. · Moderately dark garnet color in the glass. Reserved, but pleasing aromas of black cherry and earthy flora. A flood of luscious, well-spiced, black cherry and purple berry fruit flavors engage the palate with authority. Plush in texture, with reserved tannins and a faint note of oak in the background. The finish is incredibly long, exceeding almost every every other old vine bottling tasted for this article. Flat-out terrific when tasted the following day from a previously opened bottle. Score: 96. Reviewed May 28, 2022
