14.9% alc., $85. Unfined and unfiltered. · On the nose there are aromas of ripe black cherry fruit, stem and anise. The ripe fruit theme carries through on the palate with a vein of stemminess in the background. Soft tannins, lively acidity and refreshing citric tang on the finish. Reviewed March 15, 2009
