2006 Dutton-Goldfield Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
13% alc., $38. · Mineral imbibed black cherry scents evolve in the glass to a purely dark fruit compote which is very alluring. Black raspberry flavors are set off by a hint of oak. The texture is soft and the finish pleasantly tangy with some unresolved tannins. Plenty to like here. Reviewed January 20, 2008
