2005 Rutz Cellars Maison Grand Cru Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
14.5% alc., $35. · Very light in color. The nose is quite charming exhibiting crushed strawberries, exotic woods, spice and a floral lift. A very elegant wine with delicate red Pinot fruits with oak accents. This is a wine for those who prefer the feminine side of Pinot Noir. Reviewed January 20, 2008
