2001 Peregrine Central Otago New Zealand Pinot Noir

14.0% alc.. Imported by Empson Inc., Alexandria, VA. · The wine has a slight orange tinge to the rim in the glass. The nose is beautifully perfumed with red fruits including cherry and cranberry. The flavors don't follow in step, with a mid palate and finish lacking fruit punch and tasting a little stemmy and woody. Reviewed April 16, 2006
